Safe 'n Healthy was started when owner, Leann Pomaville, read a book by Dr. John R. Lee, Dr. Jesse Hanley, and Virginia Hopkins which outlined female health problems resulting from toxins, especially parabens, put into our bodies in the form of personal care products and laundry residue, or household cleaning products. As she researched this topic, she learned of more toxins contained in everyday use, and with the desire to keep her family safe and healthy she began searching for products which were natural, non-toxic, and/or organic. As she weeded through products that "claimed" to be natural and/or organic she decided to share her research and knowledge by creating a site which sold products that didn't only claim to be natural, non-toxic, and/or organic, but where exactly that.
Safe 'n Healthy's focus is on health, personal health and the health of our environment. Although we believe that our carbon footprint is important, our first focus is on the health of our family and friends. All the products sold on this site have been researched. All lists of ingredients have been checked to make sure the product is indeed natural, non-toxic, and/or organic.
